What is Yoga Calm?
Yoga Calm Training
Yoga Calm®, founded by Jim and Lynea Gillen, is a research-supported wellness and learning preparedness curriculum designed to reduce stess, prepare students to learn and create a calmer and more productive school environment. It creatively integrates fitness, mindfulness, social/emotional skill development and cognitive learning processes to help educators and students be more effective and connected.
Supported by the latest research in neuroscience, trauma and social/emotional learning, the workshops model how to create optimal learning and therapuetic environments while teaching educators the complete Yoga Calm Wellness system. The curriculum is guided by five wellness principles: Stillness, Listening, Strength, Grounding and Community. yogacalm.org
