Please note that the Yoga Calm Practicum Course is a prerequisite for this course. Completion of the Practicum and its portfolio (i.e., open-book exam, lesson plans, teaching log & video) needs to be completed at least 30 days before this Certification Course.

This course is the capstone event in the Instructor Certification Program.

We’ve designed the entire Yoga Calm Certification Program to prepare you for an uplifting workshop experience – and success in bringing Yoga Calm into your classroom, hospital setting, counseling office, studio or wherever you work with children and families. Thus, this capstone event isn’t just an opportunity to further hone your new skills, it is also a time to celebrate all you have learned.

Saturday morning’s breakfast will allow time to get acquainted with other Yoga Calm certification candidates. After breakfast, we will break into two small groups where you will lead a 20-minute lesson plan based on one of the five Yoga Calm principles. Reflection, feedback and collegial sharing processes will help create a safe, yet powerful learning environment.

In addition to teaching your favorite class plans with each other, you will have the opportunity to share and receive class plans from the other candidates as well as all past certified instructors, coming away from the workshop with hundreds of new plans and ideas. You will receive individualized feedback from your trainers and a valuable special session on how to develop and promote your Yoga Calm classes for youth, including receipt of your business starter kit.

Prerequisites
Completion of Integrated Approach to Wellness 1, 2 & 3 and the Practicum Course (i.e., open-book exam, lesson plans, teaching log & video).

The annual Yoga Calm Youth Instructor license fee of $100 (due March of each year) is payable to Still Moving Yoga and will be billed at the workshop.
